Balloon Logo
The balloon has been a symbol of RE/MAX since its earliest days. The first
balloon was created as part of a local promotional event. It worked very well,
and the leaders of RE/MAX realized they had found their logo. The balloon
represented everything RE/MAX was about. Later, the slogan "Above the Crowd!"
was added.
Today, with a fleet of RE/MAX balloons, the RE/MAX balloon is one of the most
recognized corporate symbols. The balloons appear at meets, promotional
events, and charity fund raising events, all over North America.
The image of a balloon carries with it a resonance of freedom, of thinking "out of the
box", of soaring over difficulties and arriving at a goal, easily and enjoyably, with only
the sound of the wind and the natural world as accompaniment...a very interesting and
pleasing logo for an international real estate corporation.
