In March, 1919, ten local real estate brokers became the first subscribers to the
Vancouver Real Estate Exchange Ltd. In 1948 the Exchange was renamed to the Vancouver Real
Estate Board, and in the mid 1970s it was given it's current name - the Real Estate Board
of Greater Vancouver. Since then, the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver has grown to 9,000 members. It is the second largest real estate board in Canada, and the largest Board in British Columbia The Board comprises over 50 per cent of the BC Real Estate Association membership and has operated continuously since 1919 pioneered the first MLS listing service in Canada. Sea To Sky Premier Properties is a member of the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver. As the Managing Broker of Sea To Sky Premier Properties (Salt Spring), Li Read is also a member. |
