The RE/MAX Collection

RE/MAX International decided, some years ago, to focus on a specialty site for luxury and
estate style properties.
Called "The RE/MAX Collection", this emphasis on a luxury real estate opportunity
brings the benefit of RE/MAX's global "audience" to the seller of such a listing.
Three years ago, RE/MAX International contacted me, and invited me to be on their Advisory
Board. As a part of a regular conference call network (with realtors in Cape Cod, in Vail,
in Florida, in Aspen, in the Carolinas, and in Southern California locales, in Atlanta,
etc.), I'm able to bring my listings to the attention of this "larger venue" of high
producing realtors.
RE/MAX International spans Canada, Mexico, South America, U.K., France, Germany, Holland,
Italy, Spain, Australia, New Zealand, and Asian locales; at the time, I was the only realtor
from this International community to be a part of this Advisory Board, which was very
exciting.
Recently, at the 2005 RE/MAX Western Convention, held in Vancouver, B.C., at the beginning
of February, I was invited to be on a panel with a Whistler area realtor, to speak about
the The RE/MAX Collection program.
"What is The RE/MAX Collection? This program serves the specialized needs and
interests of affluent buyers and sellers. The program provides demographically tailored
marketing for exclusive properties and signifies to discriminating clients the exceptional
service they can expect.
The RE/MAX Collection program assists Sales Associates who work with high-end properties,
giving them the ability to create individualized marketing plans." The marketing wing of
RE/MAX, involved in the RE/MAX Collection, is for true estate style options, and is not
used for other property categories. This ensures that luxury opportunities will receive
the care and acknowledgement that such preferred properties deserve. Each region has its
own criteria (see Li for details on this!).
